Lisa has more than 25 years of experience in intellectual property law and strategy for life science companies, including direct microbiome experience as Head of Intellectual Property at Seres Therapeutics, the company behind the first FDA-approved oral microbiome therapy. As principal of Intellectual Property Strategy, LLC, she advises scientists and entrepreneurs on building patent portfolios and integrating IP strategy with business plans, exactly the work an early-stage company like KeepBio depends on. She has also led IP at Frequency Therapeutics and Casebia Therapeutics and served as Associate General Counsel at Biogen Idec. She holds a PhD in biology from UCLA and a JD from Boston University School of Law, where she teaches patent prosecution.
